Denmark: Tivoli Appoints Kasper Schumacher New Senior Vice President
Copenhagen’s Tivoli park just announced the appointment of Kasper Schumacher (photo) as the company’s new Senior Vice President (SVP), effective March 23rd. For his new role, Schumacher, who currently serves as CEO of Sweden’s Skåne Djurpark, will return to Tivoli after a couple of years – from 2003 to 2011, he had already been part of Tivoli’s senior management team.
The experienced industry expert will oversee the operations and development of the historic Tivoli amusement gardens in central Copenhagen. In the executive team, Schumacher joins Tivoli CEO Lars Liebst, who recently initiated a succession plan for his post (cf. EAP News of 23 Dec 2019), and Chief Financial Officer Andreas Morthorst.
