“Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” to Open on September 16
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will officially open on 16 September at Universal Studios Hollywood.

(eap) After the highly anticipated new roller coaster “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” at Universal Studios Hollywood had already entered technical rehearsals with guests at the end of July, the theme park has now announced September 16 as the official opening date for the launch coaster supplied by Intamin Amusement Rides.
Powered by multiple LSM launches, the trains race along the more than 1.2-kilometre-long track at speeds of up to some 117 km/h, navigating a twisting layout featuring airtime moments and four inversions. This makes Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift not only the first high-speed outdoor roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood and the park’s first coaster to feature inversions, but also the fastest roller coaster at any Universal theme park worldwide.
