(eap) With “Super Neon” and “Wondra”, entertainment company Merlin Entertainments and the ticketing and experience platform Fever have created two new visitor experiences this autumn that invite guests to immerse themselves in surreal worlds of light. Super Neon celebrated its world premiere at Mall of America® near Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA), where visitors embark on a 45- to 60-minute journey through a series of darkened rooms brought to life by neon-coloured light installations featuring various interactive elements. Guests can, for example, walk through a colourful rain shower or an enchanted forest where trees appear to grow when touched. Each room is designed to spark the imagination and creativity of visitors and encourage active participation.

The new format, reflecting the current trend for light and art installations, was developed in collaboration between Merlin’s creative division, Merlin Magic Making, and Fever in less than a year. With Wondra, the two partners have also launched another immersive concept that enchants guests in Chicago with nature-inspired light installations. This immersive storytelling experience is located at Woodfield Mall. ■
