(eap) With a completely sold-out premiere, the new tour “The Great Adventure” by Swiss musician DJ BoBo has launched at the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort in Rust. Until 18 January 2026, the Eurodance artist can be experienced in the Europa-Park Arena, before the production goes on an international tour.
The show combines an elaborately staged set design, special costumes, video effects and choreography with songs that are intended to deliver guaranteed earworms. A total of two years were spent working on the extensive production. The premiere of a new DJ BoBo show is taking place at Europa-Park for the eighth time already; this year it additionally marks the crowning finale of the park’s anniversary year. The song “Celebrating under the stars”, created especially for the anniversary, atmospherically reflects the anniversary motto (see also our anniversary report in EAP 2/2025). As part of the world premiere, young talents from Europa-Park’s “Talent Academy” are also involved. Ten long-standing members accompany four songs with dance performances. The young artists will also perform in front of more than 10,000 spectators at a tour stop in Mannheim in May.
To coincide with the new tour, the “DJ BoBo – The Great Adventure VR Experience” complements the entertainment portfolio in the “YULLBE Go” experience. In collaboration between DJ BoBo’s creative team, MACK One and Europa-Park, the virtual reality experience combines music, interactive gameplay mechanics and immersive worlds. Visitors experience a rhythm-based game mechanic in the style of well-known music games and travel through fantastic worlds that culminate in a virtual concert.
Europa-Park will start its summer season on 28 March 2026. The Rulantica water world as well as the resort’s hotels are open year-round. ■
