China: Window of the World Theme Park to Open New Air Launch Coaster
Ein ähnlicher Air Launch-Coaster wird ab 2019 durch den chinesischen Park Window of the World rauschen.
Located in Changsha (Hunan Province) and opened in the 1990s, Chinese Window of the World theme park showcases 50 replicas of the world’s most famous tourist attractions and is one of the largest theme parks in central China. As announced recently, the US manufacturer S&S Worldwide will deliver an Air Launch Coaster to the park – the opening is scheduled for early 2019.
At 40 meters high and 830 meters long, the new rollercoaster will offer a total of ten exciting ride elements, including several inversions. Maximum speeds of up to 100 km/ are possible. “S&S is excited to be installing our 5th Air Launch Coaster in China,“ comments Gerald Ryan, Executive Director of Sales for S&S.
