Construction Works of Gardaland‘s New Rollercoaster Go Ahead

Italy’s Gardaland strives for a new altitude record with the construction of its newest rollercoaster, which is scheduled for a 2015 opening. The groundbreaking ceremony was already held in late August (cp. EAP news from Sept 1, 2014). The new coaster will be more than 42 meters high and be the highest attraction at the Italian theme park operated by Merlin Entertainments. The construction works of the thrilling coaster are proceeding according to schedule. The highest point of the track could recently be reached at 42.5 meters! The custom-designed dive coaster supplied by B&M will clearly surpasses the park’s other rollercoasters in height, Raptor (33 meters high) and Blue Tornado (34 meters high). (eap)
