Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze to Make Waves at Knott’s Soak City

(eap) To coincide with yesterday’s “National Waterpark Day”, US water park Knott’s Soak City, located next to Knott’s Berry Farm, has announced two new attractions for next year. Guests can look forward to new water slides that will replace the existing “Shore Break” slide complex. “Coral Craze” and “Kelp Kraze” will be two family-friendly slides supplied by Canadian manufacturer ProSlide Technology and designed for rafts accommodating up to five people.

Coral Craze will be a “FlyingSAUCER” slide on which families and friends will pass through three signature FlyingSAUCER features. With their steeply banked curves, these are designed to give guests the sensation of racing down a world-class ski course. On the other side of the conveyor belt, guests will find Kelp Kraze, a “HIVE™” slide featuring two signature helix elements. These will be fitted with translucent walls, allowing riders to catch glimpses of the park below.

“Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze represent the next wave of innovation for Knott’s Soak City,” said Raffi Kaprelyan, park president of Knott’s Berry Farm. “These exciting new attractions combine the thrills our guests crave with the shared experiences families love. We are thrilled to celebrate National Waterpark Day by announcing two of the industry’s most innovative slide experiences are headed to Soak City, giving guests new ways to ride, splash and make memories together.”
