(eap) As early as this spring, a new indoor activity park is set to expand Nuremberg’s leisure offering: With JumpYard, the city in northern Bavaria will get a trampoline park that marks the first location of the Swedish operator in Germany. The approximately 3,500-square meter facility is being developed within the MERCADO shopping center. There it occupies the former premises of Ninja Warrior Nürnberg, which ceased operations in summer 2025 after less than one and a half years due to economic difficulties.

“The opening in Nuremberg represents an important milestone for JumpYard in Germany. We are introducing a broader activity concept to the city that goes well beyond a traditional trampoline park, creating experiences that appeal both to families and to groups seeking something new,” says Pedro Almeida, CEO of JumpYard Germany.

The JumpYard Nuremberg offer will include classic trampoline zones as well as bungee trampolines, climbing elements and a SkyRider zipline attraction. The portfolio is complemented by bumper cars, a large “Jumpy Playground”, interactive games and a football area. Dedicated party rooms will be available for birthdays and group events.

Founded in Sweden in 2017, JumpYard currently operates 27 parks across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Spain and Portugal. Following its market entry in Nuremberg, the company intends to continue its expansion in Germany with further planned locations in Frankfurt and Hamburg. ■
