Germany: New “ICE AGE” Exhibition to Be Launched at Odysseum Cologne

This Friday (June 2nd), the Odysseum science center in Cologne will launch its new interactive adventure exhibition “ICE AGE: On the trail of the mammoths” focusing on the climatic change and eco systems. Visitors can go onto a journey with their favorite Ice Age heroes such as “Manni” the mammoth and “Sid” the sloth, discovering around 30 exhibits most of which have been delivered by Estonia’s Museko company.

The adventure exhibition is a production of AWC AG, covering an area of 1,200 square meters and combining scientific stations, an ice theater, life-size reconstructions of Ice Age animals and a high number of original fossils. The highlights are a minus 15°C cold ice tunnel and hand-painted walls in the style of the caves in Lascaus/France. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the “ICE AGE” edutainment at Odysseum in Cologne until November 5th this year. (eap)
