Germany’s Kristall Palm Beach Opens Modernised Sauna World

(eap) Germany’s Kristall Palm Beach spa and leisure pool complex in Stein near Nuremberg is welcoming its first guests to its extensively modernised sauna world today. The sauna area at the Bavarian facility underwent a redesign over a period of around three months. The new sauna world features an Alpine-style design that reflects the appearance of the outdoor area.
The previous “Bergkristallsauna” has been completely rebuilt and equipped with modern show technology. Vibration-based sound effects, stage lighting, lasers, black light and fog effects will now be used in the new show sauna by devine wellness & spa. The former “Salzdampfbad” has been replaced by an “ESPURO® foam steam bath”.

In addition, the existing stainless-steel whirlpool has been enlarged and enhanced with a special feature. A fireplace has been integrated into the centre of the pool, allowing guests to watch the flames while relaxing in the water. Several tonnes of natural stone from the Alpine region as well as salvaged timber were used for the redesign of the sauna world. The materials are intended to reinforce the Alpine-style design concept and create a high-quality wellness ambience.
Besides its sauna and wellness facilities, Kristall Palm Beach also comprises a thermal spa area as well as a leisure pool with a variety of water slides, a sports pool and offerings for younger guests. ■
