Immersive Exhibition “Polar Experience” to Premiere in Berlin

(eap) On 6 December, the new immersive exhibition format “Polar Experience – The Immersive Exhibition on the Arctic and Antarctic” will celebrate its world premiere in the German capital. Until 6 April 2026, this multimedia-based experience in the ARENA Berlin industrial monument will take visitors into the Earth’s polar regions, presenting majestic landscapes, unique wildlife and exciting research. Aimed at all age groups, the exhibition is intended to create an emotional impact and inspire action to protect the planet.

In the “Boarding Room”, visitors are introduced to what awaits them during their adventure in the eternal ice. From there, the journey continues through the “Fascination Ice” exhibition area into the largest experience space, featuring an interactive 360-degree projection that highlights and brings to life the Arctic and Antarctic, the beauty of nature and the world of the animals living there. Visitors then enter two further rooms dedicated to the habitats of the animals and people of the polar regions. Central to this is the documentary by Alessandro Rovere on the Yupik people living in the Arctic, who address the rest of the world with powerful messages.

The tour culminates in the “Act Now Room”, a festival-like interactive space showcasing ways for visitors to engage in climate and environmental protection. Numerous companies, start-ups and NGOs already active in these fields are presented here. The starting and end point of the Polar Experience is the “Welcome Lobby”, which includes the ticketing area, service counter and shop.
