Loop5 Expands Retailtainment Offering with MySpa

(eap) The Loop5 shopping and leisure center in Weiterstadt, Germany has consistently expanded its leisure and entertainment offering in recent years. Among other attractions, a climbing park, a water play area and a free-fall tower have already moved in (see EAP 3/2024). With the opening of MySpa in spring of this year, another offering has now been announced that is already established in six different German cities. The heart of MySpa are so-called “Personal Wellzones” – private wellness areas that enable individual experiences. Across an area of 900 square meters, guests will in future find separate zones with their own sauna and whirlpool as well as exclusive relaxation areas.

“With the integration of MySpa, we are creating a unique place where, alongside shopping, entertainment and gastronomy, relaxation can now also be found. This step underlines our goal of positioning Loop5 as a modern lifestyle center,” highlights Jacqueline Brunner, center manager of Loop5. “Our visitors can not only shop here but also recharge their batteries and leave everyday life behind,” adds Eva Jansen in de Wal, also center manager of Loop5.

“With what will then be the seventh MySpa location, we are consistently continuing our expansion strategy at Loop5: we are opening our first location in Hesse and at the same time our first branch in a shopping centre. Loop5 stands for a convincing transformation from a classic shopping centre into a modern destination that brings together leisure, entertainment and a cultural offering beyond pure shopping. The framework conditions are ideal for our guests: the site has excellent transport connections, with free parking spaces right at the door. This means it is only a few meters to arriving and unwinding at MySpa,” says René Törner, Managing Director of the MySpa Group. ■
