Lotte World Launches New PUBG: Battlegrounds Walkthrough Attraction

(eap) Since May 5, visitors to the South Korean amusement park Lotte World have been able to experience a new interactive walkthrough attraction based on the shooting game title “PUBG: Battlegrounds”. “PUBG: Battlegrounds World Agent” is the name of the attraction (implemented by Canadian manufacturer Triotech), which combines media and motion technology with projection mapping and special effects to create an authentic video game-like setting for players (up to 16 people can do the walkthrough together as a team). Occupying an area of more than 750 square meters, the attraction features a total of three scenes in which players must work together to face various challenges and shoot at targets in order to earn points.

“We believe that this highly immersive experience with the universe of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS will create unforgettable memories for our guests and is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in entertainment,” said Mr. Choi, CEO of Lotte World.

“Opening the PUBG: Battlegrounds walkthrough attraction at Lotte World in Seoul is a thrilling moment for us at Triotech. We are excited to share this interactive experience with our client and their guests, and we hope they will enjoy stepping into the world of PUBG like never before. With the new walkthrough, Triotech has now been able to complete another project in Lotte World. Previously, the manufacturer delivered a 40-seat XD Dark Ride theater to the South Korean park. In Europe, the company most recently worked on the completion of the “Champi’Folies” dark ride now open in Le Pal (France), which was realized in close cooperation with BoldMove Nation. ■
