Martin Neumeister New Second Managing Director at Legoland Germany

(eap) With Martin Neumeister (pictured here) LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort has appointed a new second Managing Director, who will strengthen the management team led by Managing Director Manuela Stone. Neumeister is no stranger to the company – the experienced financial expert has been part of the resort since 2001, even before the official opening of the theme park. In his new role, Neumeister will work closely with Stone and continue to actively support her in the further development of the resort in Günzburg, Bavaria. Among his key responsibilities are the financial and strategic guidance of investments, the sustainable expansion of the resort, and the continuous enhancement of guest satisfaction.

“Martin Neumeister has been a driving force in the further development of our resort for many years and an important member of my leadership team,” Stone emphasized, praising his innovative spirit. “With his deep understanding of technological innovations, he regularly contributes ideas that sustainably move our resort forward. I am very much looking forward to having him at my side and to shaping the future of LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort together.”

Neumeister follows in the footsteps of his predecessor Timothy De Young, who, after 24 years with the team, has retired from his role as Finance Director and second Managing Director. Looking back on her collaboration with her long-time colleague, Manuela Stone said: “For many years, I worked closely with Timothy De Young. When I took over as Managing Director in May 2019, this collaboration naturally became even more intensive, and together we successfully steered the resort through both prosperous and challenging times. Over all these years, he was not only a competent colleague but also a trusted partner who always supported me with honesty, openness, and appreciation. I am immensely grateful for our collaborative work based on mutual trust.” ■
