More Action at Germany’s Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern

Schloss Dankern, a vacation center in Germany, has many different recreational activities to offer for its day guests and overnight visitors. Only this past June, a new and wholly themed adventure golf course featuring a medieval castle theme has been opened at Schloss Dankern (cf. EAP 4/2012). Following the new miniature golf course, this summer saw the addition of two other new attractions, SEABOB and four converted Opel Corsa cars on the cross track. The SEABOB (see picture), supplied by German-based Cayago AG from Stuttgart, is a fun-sport vehicle with a 5 PS strong electronic jet drive (cf. EAP 5/2005). It can reach speeds of up to 15 km/h and swim above and under water. At Schloss Dankern it can be rented by guests from the age of 16 to be used on the 40 hectare large Dankern Lake after an obligatory safety briefing and with corresponding equipment consisting of a wetsuit, a life jacket and glasses. Children and teenagers from ages 12 to 16 have to submit a written permission from their parents before they can join the adventure. On the “Cross Track” of Schloss Dankern, next to the kart track, visitors of full age can drive in converted Opel Corsa cars. (eap)
