(eap) At the start of the 2026 season, Erlebnispark Tripsdrill in Cleebronn, Germany, will expand its offering with the new family attraction “Luftikus”. This is a ride of the “Flying Tiger 8” type from the Italian manufacturer Zamperla, in which eight gondolas move along an oval track and create a characteristic swinging motion through curve movements. Each gondola can accommodate four children or one adult and two children, giving the attraction a maximum capacity of 32 people per ride.

Luftikus is being built in direct vicinity of the launch coaster “Karacho” from manufacturer Gerstlauer. Thematically, the attraction ties in with the character of the fictional inventor “Karle Kolbenfresser”, who already functions as the “creator” of the neighboring roller coaster. Luftikus will be designed in the form of a historic zeppelin and is intended to visually blend into the existing themed area.

The launch is planned for the pre-opening weekend on 21 and 22 March 2026; from 28 March onwards, regular “flight operations” are scheduled to begin. ■
