New Experiences at Wild and Leisure Park Klotten

New Experiences at Wild and Leisure Park Klotten

(eap) At Germany’s Wild- & Freizeitpark Klotten in Rhineland-Palatinate, there are new offers for young explorers this season: With “Ranger Klotti”, the park on the Moselle River is introducing a new character who will accompany children on exciting excursions through the park in the future. Part of the new offering is “Ranger Klotti’s Entdeckerpfad” (Ranger Klottis Discovery Trail), which leads through the wildlife park area and combines nature observation with interactive hands-on stations.

At various stations, children can observe, try things out and solve small tasks related to animals and nature. Those who embark on the discovery journey receive an explorer pass in which tasks, observations and personal discoveries can be recorded. Once the trail has been fully explored, the “Ranger Badge” awaits participants at the end, which can only be obtained with a fully completed explorer pass. The discovery trail is designed as a long-term, growing experience: In the future, additional stations and new content are planned to be added so that new discoveries can be made even during later visits.

Another offering at the park is currently being created with the new excavation station „Die vergessene Stadt von Klotti“ (The Forgotten City of Klotti), whose opening is planned for summer 2026. There, children can become little archaeologists themselves and dig for the remains of a fictional Roman settlement. In addition to the new attractions and experiences, the animal park is also continuing to develop, with further animals expected to move in over the coming months.

The wildlife and leisure park is going to start its season with a pre-opening weekend on March 14 and 15, before regular operations begin on March 28. ■
