(eap) A new location of the social gaming chain Level99 is set to open this summer at Disney Springs, the entertainment and dining district at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Across an area of more than 45,000 square feet (over 4,000 square metres) of space, visitors will be able to experience 63 mini-games and challenges designed to test both physical skill and smart thinking. This will give Disney Springs its own destination in the growing “challenge room” segment.

The new location follows existing Level99 venues in Natick, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island, and Tysons, Virginia. Level99 was founded by location-based entertainment specialist Matthew DuPlessie. The new venue is being developed in the West Side area of Disney Springs, close to the Cirque du Soleil theatre, and is set to become Level99’s largest location to date. In addition to the game challenges, a two-storey bar is intended to invite guests to linger. Its offer will include, among other things, Detroit-style pizza, Wagyu burgers, handmade cocktails and rotating beers on tap. ■
