New at Familie Resort Molenwaard: Indoor Pool “Het Boothuis”

(eap) Family Resort Molenwaard, which opened in 2021 in the Dutch province of South Holland, has expanded its offerings with a new indoor swimming facility. The “Boothuis” (boathouse), designed in the characteristic Molenwaard style typical of the resort, is open to overnight guests seven days a week. Three heated pools are available for families to enjoy: a baby pool with a depth of 15 centimeters, a toddler pool twice as deep, and a family pool with a gently sloping floor reaching a maximum depth of one meter. Various play elements – including fountains, a tipping bucket, and a slide by iPlay Water Attractions – have also been installed for young guests. The new facility, realized by the construction company P. Van Leeuwen, represents another step in the ongoing development of the holiday resort.

Family Resort Molenwaard is operated by Van Hoorne Studios, known for the children’s media brands “Fien & Teun”, “Mike & Molly”, “Stip de Pony”, and “Woezel & Pip”. The latter IP will receive its own Avonturenpark de Tovertuin theme park in the Dutch town of Hoogerheide (province of North Brabant) in 2026.
