Outdoor Pool Mainburg Attracts with New Racer Slide

(eap) The open-air swimming pool in Mainburg (Lower Bavaria) is delighting its visitors with a new water slide this summer season. This is a “Racer Slide” from the Swiss company Klarer Freizeitanlagen AG. The nearly 105-meter-long bodyslide starts at a height of around eleven meters and allows three persons at a time to race against each other. Thanks to the timing system and a scoreboard at the finish, as well as the fact that the sliders can maintain constant eye contact with each other on the multi-lane wide slide, the sliding competition becomes even more exciting and encourages more duels. In addition to the new Racer Slide and various pools and diving towers, the Mainburg outdoor pool also offers its guests a Waterclimbing® wall from the company Bodan Schwimmbadbau GmbH & Co. KG. ■
