Seoul / Korea: Lotte World Opens New Interactive Attraction

Seoul-based theme park Lotte World opens a new interactive theater show called “Do You Speak Beluga?” in January 2013. The new attraction results from a collaboration between Lotte World and Hollywood-based design firm The Goddard Group. Visitors can interact, one-on-one, with a digitally-created Beluga whale. Korea-based company Rayglyph is providing the show’s technology and content. “Do You Speak Beluga” will be located in the theme area “Aqua Plaza” and will replace an outdated food court. Food and beverages will be served in a newly created undersea-themed food court. With the opening of the new theater show and the food court, Lotte World completes its year-long Aqua Plaza renovation project. (eap)
