Seoul / Korea: Lotte World to Open New Entertainment Zone

Only recently has the new interactive attraction “Do You Speak Beluga?” at Seoul’s Lotte World theme park been opened to guests. As we reported in our online news from Jan 8, 2013, it was the California-based design company The Goddard Group which developed this new attraction. Now another collaboration of the park and the company has been announced for the creation of an all-new themed entertainment zone to be built in a space underneath the main theme park formerly occupied by a public mall. “Underland”, the new area, will be inspired by the popular Korean fairy tale entitled “Ogre’s Magic Club”. In the first phase Underland will be equipped with an interactive XD Theatre created by Triotech as well as with four new food and beverage locations. The new area will increase Lotte World by over 2,000 square meters. (eap)
