SimEx-Iwerks Presents “Vision 360™“ LED Solution
(eap) The LED trend has now fully arrived in the international theme park industry. LED walls can be seamlessly integrated into themed environments – ranging from dynamic queue-line entertainment to atmospheric visual effects and high-resolution, dynamic large-format screens that are partly equipped with interactive functions. Accordingly, an increasing number of manufacturers are expanding their product portfolios with high-performance and high-contrast LED solutions that can be flexibly adapted for different types of attractions.

With “Vision 360™”, the US-based provider SimEx-Iwerks presents a new product that uses fully installed LED displays to create immersive 360-degree environments. The concept combines visual content with storytelling elements, spatial sound, and special effects. Visitors move freely within the space while the scenery – including the ceiling – is enveloped in stunning visuals. According to the provider, precisely coordinated editing sequences and audio cues ensure intuitive visitor guidance. For its first available production, the supplier selected a nature-based theme that combines breathtaking landscapes, animal encounters, and cinematic musical scoring. Vision 360 is designed both as a stand-alone attraction and as a customizable solution for integration into existing installations. Optionally, seating as well as features that ensure barrier-free access can be integrated.
“We want families and friends to experience something together, those awe-filled moments where kids are tugging on their parents’ sleeves in excitement”, said Kate Magnusson, Vice President, Marketing & Partnerships at SimEx-Iwerks. “Our shows are visually driven, without narration, letting the imagery tell the story.” ■
