Six Flags Mexico Opens “Speedway Stunt Coaster”
(eap) Six Flags Mexico put its tenth roller coaster into operation last weekend. With the opening of the new “Speedway Stunt Coaster”, the park is expanding its offering particularly in the family segment: the roller coaster can already be used by guests from a height of 95 cm (37 inches).
The new attraction is a Family Boomerang Coaster by the Dutch manufacturer Vekoma Rides. The coaster reaches a maximum height of 22.5 meters (74 feet) and top speeds of up to 60 km/h (37 mph) on a total track length of 205 meters (672 feet). A train with seating for 20 riders enables an hourly capacity of more than 750 people.
The Speedway Stunt Coaster is located in the “Villa Hollywood” themed area, where it integrates into a theme styled after the production of an action and racing movie. ■
