TAC | The Assistant Company & Neogate Join Forces

(eap) The Austrian software provider TAC | The Assistant Company and the Swiss system integrator Neogate are combining their expertise in order to offer customers in the fitness and aquatic facilities sector an even more comprehensive overall package in the future: hardware and software solutions covering reservations, access control, and billing. The two companies are already linked by a long-standing collaboration, having successfully implemented several joint projects.
Neogate, headquartered in Zurich, provides hardware solutions ranging from access control systems and cashless payment terminals to electronic locker systems. The company is also active in the smart office sector, with a focus on the DACH region. TAC, on the other hand, plans to further drive its innovative strength in the field of artificial intelligence, for example through the development of an AI assistant as a voice agent at the reception.
“Software and hardware expertise are coming together. We have effectively been working as one company for years, so taking this step was a natural progression,” explains Thomas Rössler, Managing Director of TAC | The Assistant Company.
Robert Looser, Managing Director at Neogate, comments on the merger: “We look back on a successful collaboration with TAC and are pleased to continue this joint success story now as part of one group.”
With this partnership, TAC continues on its chosen growth path: only recently, the company had acquired the German based on IT GmbH as part of a succession process, thereby further expanding its software portfolio – including new appointment scheduling modules (cf. EAP News of 26 Feb 2026). ■
