TAC Acquires based on IT GmbH

(eap) The Austrian software provider TAC | The Assistant Company, which offers various products for fitness facilities as well as the thermal bath, spa and leisure industry, has announced the acquisition of German based on IT GmbH. The product portfolio of the Wiesbaden-based company includes, among others, the “My Spa Wellnessplaner” software for appointment and personnel planning in the beauty, wellness or sports sector. The existing customers of based on IT are expected to benefit from TAC’s international network, its know-how and 24/7 support. Contact people and existing structures are to be retained following the takeover.
From TAC’s side, the succession arrangement is seen as a major joint step: “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement that is satisfactory for all parties. With this succession, we will in future stand behind based on IT GmbH as a strong partner and look forward to continuing to offer customers software of proven quality while at the same time opening new perspectives for them,” says Thomas Rössler, Managing Director of TAC.
The based on IT company is also optimistic about the future: “We are confident that customers and employees will benefit sustainably from this partnership,” comments Sándor Rusvay, founder of based on IT. ■
