(eap) Jonathan Lingham (photo) has been appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Therme UK, the British operator group has announced. In this role, Lingham will be responsible for the company’s commercial strategy and its execution, as well as for driving the further expansion of Therme UK’s activities across the United Kingdom.

Lingham brings extensive experience in commercial functions and leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Commercial Director at the English Manchester City Football Club, where he was involved, among other things, in growth strategies, partnerships and customer-centric business models. Lingham is based in Manchester and studied at King’s College London as well as at the University of New York.

In his new position at Therme UK, Lingham will lead the company’s commercial operations, including sales, strategic partnerships, brand activation, revenue management and customer experience functions. The aim is to further develop the company’s market approach, enhance value creation and support Therme UK’s growth plans.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to the Therme UK leadership team,” said Professor David Russell, CEO, Therme UK. “His deep commercial insight, coupled with his ability to forge strong partnerships and drive strategic initiatives, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our presence and impact in the UK market. Jonathan’s leadership will help us unlock new opportunities and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and partners.”

Only last week, the operator group had announced the appointment of Alison Gray as its Chief People Officer (see EAP news 16 Jan. 2026). ■
