Tivoli Gardens Delegation Visits Europa-Park Resort

The Mack family welcomes the Board & Executive Committee of Tivoli Gardens to Eatrenalin.

(eap) Last week, the Board and Executive Committee of the Danish amusement park Tivoli Gardens, together with the park’s CEO, CFO and COO, visited the Europa-Park Resort in Rust. In addition to a visit to the experience restaurant Eatrenalin, they also toured Europa-Park as well as MACK Rides, the roller coaster manufacturer based in Waldkirch.

Tivoli Gardens, which opened as early as 1843, is considered one of the oldest amusement parks in the world and have long been known for the combination of entertainment, unique atmosphere and high-quality guest experiences. It was therefore even more special for the Mack family, owners of Europa-Park, to welcome representatives of such a traditional and internationally renowned park to Rust and to engage in a professional exchange.

Like Europa-Park (see EAP News of 12 Jan 2026), Tivoli Gardens also enjoyed an increase in visitor numbers last year. In total, the park in Copenhagen recorded around 4.3 million guest visits in the 2025 season – the highest number since the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025 alone, the amusement park invested almost 200 million Danish kroner (approx. 26.8 million euros) as part of its long-term strategy aimed at continuous renewal and quality improvement. The investments included maintenance, building improvements, the continued redevelopment of a new themed land in the former Asia area as well as the development of seasonal attractions intended to enhance the guest experience and strengthen Tivoli’s long-term competitiveness.

Further information on visitor developments and investments of European amusement parks can be found in the latest park report in EAP issue 2/2026. ■
