Tom Mehrmann Announces Resignation

Ocean Park Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Officer Tom Mehrmann recently has given notice of his intention to not renew his employment contract with the amusement park with effect from August 1, 2016. Mehrmann joined Ocean Park in 2004 and since then has contributed to the park’s further growth, including a consistent increase in attendance figures and an improved financial position. “I’m immensely proud of my association with Ocean Park, as well as the staff, Management and Board for the meaningful, bold and courageous growth initiatives that have taken the park to new heights,” Mehrmann says. The search process for Mehrmann’s successor has already begun. As soon as a decision has been made, EAP will inform you about who will be Ocean Park’s new CEO as of next summer. (eap)
