Topping-out Ceremony for Bibi & Tina Amusement Park Near Berlin
(eap) The world’s first Bibi & Tina theme park is currently being built directly adjacent to Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal near Berlin, Germany. Robert Dahl, owner of Karls Erlebnis-Dörfer, plans to open the new park in 2027. The company describes the concept as “a place where everything revolves around friendship, horses and, of course, a touch of magic.” Bibi & Tina is a popular German children’s franchise centred around young witch “Bibi Blocksberg” and her friend “Tina Martin”, who experience adventures together at a riding stable. The brand is particularly well known through audio plays, books, animated series and live-action film and, in close cooperation with KIDDINX publishing house, will provide the content basis for the new theme park.

Today – exactly one year before the planned opening – Karls offered further insights into the project as part of a topping-out ceremony. In the presence of Brandenburg’s Minister-President Dr. Dietmar Woidke, Dahl and his team presented additional details about the development. Set across an area of 36,500 square meters, the park will feature four themed areas, eleven rides and attractions across indoor and outdoor spaces, more than ten F&B outlets, a themed hotel, evening show and the world’s only Bibi & Tina flagship store. The first artworks show, among other things, stable buildings, riding areas, pathways, natural areas and further experience zones. Reals horses, ponies, chickens and even the billy goat “Hoheit” are also set to be present at the park.

The highlight among the attractions will be a Family Launch Duelling Coaster with a Moebius layout, which will celebrate its premiere here. In the future, young and older horse lovers will be able to stay overnight in 46 individually designed Bibi & Tina family rooms in “Martinshof” style. The themed hotel will be located directly next to the park. Karls is investing a total of 60 million euros in the new park.
“With the Bibi & Tina theme park, Karls is taking the next step towards Karls World and towards its goal of becoming a multi-day leisure destination for national and international guests,” said Robert Dahl. He continued: “In everything we do, it is important to us not to lose sight of the following: we want to remain low-threshold and accessible to everyone. The new Bibi & Tina theme park will therefore also not charge regular admission, and many offers will be available to experience free of charge. Accessibility and experiences for visitors from the youngest age onwards were of the highest priority during the planning process. In Kiddinx, we have found a partner that supports these values and is working with us to bring a wonderful themed world to life. Together, we are now creating a place where fans will be able to experience the stories of the now 35-year-young Bibi & Tina brand up close for the first time. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you and many other visitors to the new Bibi & Tina theme park from 1 July 2027.” ■
