Traveler’s Choice Awards 2023: The Best Amusement & Water Parks
Siam Park, Tenerife (Spain) was ranked as world's best water and theme park worldwide for the ninth time in a row.
(eap) The “Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best ‘Things to Do’ Awards” are presented each year by the online travel platform Tripadvisor to experiences and attractions in various categories that have received a high number of ratings and opinions from the travel community over a twelve-month period (May 1, 2022-April 30 2023). Less than one percent of the eight million Tripadvisor entries receive a Best of the Best award, according to the platform. The winners are not determined by a jury of experts, but based on the overall ratings of travelers from around the world. In addition to the main category “Top Overall Experiences”, there are ten sub-categories, including the “Amusement & Water Parks” category (now merged):
In 1st place among the award-winning amusement and water parks 2023 in Europe and worldwide, is Siam Park in Tenerife (Spain), for the ninth time in a row. The 2nd place in the category Amusement & Water Parks – Europe goes to the Puy du Fou theme park, located in the Vendée region of France. 3rd place goes to Futuroscope, also based in France. England’s Blackpool Pleasure Beach theme park takes the 4th place in this ranking, and the 5th place was taken by The Milky Way Adventure Park in Clovelly (UK).
The ranking of the best amusement and water parks in the USA is as follows: The winner of this category in 1st place is the Silver Dollar City theme park located in the US state of Missouri, followed by Dollywood in Tennessee in the 2nd place. The 3rd place is taken by Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando/Florida, and the 4th place goes to Fun Spot America in Kissimmee/Florida. The Magic Kingdom theme park, part of Walt Disney World, takes the 5th place here.
