(eap) The spooky season is also in full swing at Germany’s Tripsdrill leisure park. Over the past two weekends, the “Schaurige Altweibernächte” (Spooky Old Women’s Nights) took place once again – an event that has already become a staple at the Baden-Wuerttemberg park in Cleebronn. New this year was the “Zimmer frei!” (Room Available!”) horror maze, designed to look like an abandoned hotel. The popular Halloween event is scheduled to take place again in 2027, with advance ticket sales set to begin soon.

From 24 October to 1 November 2026, Tripsdrill will host “Lichtergaudi” for the first time. This new family event is included in regular day passes and annual passes. During this period, the park will be open faily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Light installations will transform the attractions and pathways into a colorful spectacle, while evening rides will round out the offerings for families. Among the highlights is a new drone show that combines images and figures in the evening sky with sound, retelling Tripsdrill’s stories in a new way. This was implemented in collaboration with our event and technology partner, iLux. ■
