USA: “SkyScreamer“ at Six Flags Darien Lake Now Open

Six Flags Darien Lake, the Six Flags Group’s high-thrill park located in the US state of New York, has recently launched its new “SkyScreamer” tower ride, a StarFlyerTM model from Austrian manufacturer Funtime (supplied by its North American distribution partner Ride Entertainment). Up to 32 passengers can experience the “flight” up to a maximum height of 73 meters (242 feet) at the same time, spinning round at a speed of 56 km/h (35 mph). A spectacular view can also be enjoyed by guests taking a ride in the evening, when the attraction is colorfully lit up.

“Six Flags continues to lead the way in innovation as we bring the state’s tallest ride to Western New York. We are thrilled to add this shining beacon and iconic landmark to the Six Flags Darien Lake skyline. From this impressive tower guests will soar high among the clouds, taking in majestic views of the park and surrounding countryside below,” says Chris Thorpe, President of Six Flags Darien Lake.
