USA: Two Bit Circus Launches “Park as a Platform” Program for Game Developers Looking to Enter LBE

Two Bit Circus, a US-based entertainment company, has recently launched a new game testing program for game developers, inviting them to test and distribute their contents in the field of location-based entertainment (LBE). As testing platform servers the Two Bit Circus Micro-Amusement ParkTM, an indoor entertainment center offering arcade games, mixed and virtual reality experiences and carnival games opened 2018 in Los Angeles/CA (cf. EAP News f. 1st April 2019). Game developers can submit their products to be featured at the regularly held “Two Bit Circus’ Beta Nights”, where enthusiastic game players come and try out new content. The public exhibition of new games will foster innovative approaches and encourage a constant influx of new, diverse content for LBE sites. Companies participating in the Beta Nights event can obtain important data for product improvements and benefit from a revenue share.

“Getting a game in front of the public requires a lot of resources that many developers don’t have access to. Imagine the possible variety of public games and experiences if more developers had the resources to explore LBE. We hope that by erasing some of the obstacles and encouraging the community, we can support developers and increase the diversity of fun,” says Eric Gradman, Two Bit Circus Co-Founder and CTO. (eap)
