(eap) The Finnish amusement park Linnanmäki has started this year’s season with a new attraction. “Swingi”, a gyro swing from Intamin, is now taking visitors to dizzy heights. Visitors swing from side to side at speeds of up to 100 km/h, reaching a height of 40 meters at an angle of 120 degrees at the highest point. Helsinki is then literally lying under their feet. Up to 40 guests can enjoy the attraction at the same time and experience a two-minute ride with a lot of airtime. In keeping with the name “Swingi”, the attraction is themed to the music genre “Swing”, with music produced by the German company IMAscore. The Gyro Swing was placed on the site of the former Top Spin attraction “Kieputin” from Huss Park Attractions. ■
