World Record Attempt: Therme Erding Seeks over 100 Nations for Sauna Infusion

Next weekend, from October 6 to 8, 2023, the first Sauna Festival of Therme Erding will take place. On these days, the VitalTherme and saunas will be transformed into a big show stage when sauna masters heat up the total of 24 saunas. The event weekend is to be introduced by a world record – an infusion in the Russian Banja Sauna with guests from over 100 nations. The idea for this venture came about during a quiz at an employee event. “For us, as the world’s largest sauna facility, it was immediately clear that we would take on the challenge of breaking the record. A short time later, the planning already began,” says executive manager Jacqueline Plan-Ertl.
