“SeaBloom” at SeaWorld Yas Island: New Live Show & Experiences
(eap) SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is currently hosting the second edition of its “SeaBloom Celebration”: until April 26, visitors have the opportunity to get into the mood for the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere with a new live show. In addition, themed sand sculptures can be discovered. Interactive educational offerings as well as meet-and-greet opportunities with SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s characters are intended to round off a park visit.

The themed sand sculptures can be found in the “Abu Dhabi Ocean” realm – one of the total of eight themed areas in the world’s first indoor SeaWorld park. The artworks tell the story of a sea turtle’s journey. In the “One Ocean” realm, a new seasonal show is presented, illustrating how the change of seasons brings new life beneath the water’s surface. The entertainment program is complemented by meet-and-greet moments, during which the park’s characters wear spring-themed costumes. Especially for younger visitors to SeaWorld Yas Island, the “SeaBloom Curiosities Booklet” will once again be available – a booklet that guides children through all eight themed realms, where they can complete a task in each area to collect stickers and ultimately receive a prize.
Finally, the first SeaWorld park outside the United States is currently also showcasing animal offspring: in the “Antarctica” realm, newly hatched penguin chicks can be observed, while in the “Tropical Ocean” visitors can catch a glimpse of newly born tropical birds. In “Rocky Point”, there is also the opportunity to see a sea lion pup. ■
