AquaFun Soest Invests in New Family Water Slide

(eap) Germany’s AquaFun Soest leisure pool, located in the Soester Börde region in North-Rhine Westphalia, is expanding its range of family attractions by investing in a new water slide.

The announced addition will be an enclosed double slide of the “Magic Twice” model supplied by Swiss manufacturer Klarer Freizeitanlagen. It will comprise two parallel lanes designed to allow the two riders to maintain visual contact with each other throughout the ride. In this way, shared fun will be combined with playful racing along the approximately 90-metre-long slide. Integrated light and sound effects as well as a timing system are intended to add variety to the descents and encourage repeat rides. The future attraction is expected to offer a capacity of up to 480 persons per hour.

“With the new adventure slide, we are making a targeted investment in the future of AquaFun. Our aim is to offer our guests new experiences time and again and to further develop the pool as an attractive leisure destination for families from the region. We are delighted that we will soon be able to present our visitors with an attraction that will create plenty of shared memories,” comments Timo Schirmer, Managing Director of AquaFun Soest, which also includes the AquaSpa sauna complex. Pool operations are to be maintained as far as possible throughout the construction phase. ■
