(eap) As part of the “Spooky Tour”, from tomorrow, 16 October, things will once again take a terrifying turn at Bavaria Filmstadt near Munich, Germany: On nine selected evenings until 31 October, the film studio complex will transform into a spine-chilling world of horror featuring six live attractions. Amid original film sets, visitors aged 16 and over can look forward to horror mazes, roaming scare actors, special effects and interactive horror experiences.
Guests can decide for themselves how deeply they want to immerse themselves in the world of horror: Three tiered ticket categories – “First Bite”, “Enter the Dark” and “All You Can Scream” – offer different levels of access to the attractions. The programme includes the two horror mazes “Apolyptica” and “Obscurum”, the immersive “Spooky Tour”, the “Mørkheim” escape experience featuring a new storyline, and the “Zombyte 2.0” VR adventure. On Fridays and Saturdays, the zombie dance show “The Dead Dance” adds to the entertainment. Another new addition this year is “Cine Mortale” – an interactive cinema experience featuring the specially produced horror short film “Grimm Ripper”, in which audiences can influence themselves how the story unfolds.
A separate programme is also planned for younger Halloween fans: On Saturday, 24 October, the entrance area of Bavaria Filmstadt will temporarily transform into a family-friendly Halloween world. Young visitors can look forward to age-appropriate spooky encounters and a varied entertainment programme. Costumes are expressly encouraged for the one-day event. ■
