(eap) The German educational kids’ magazine “GEOLINO” (RTL Deutschland) and the Dinosaur Museum Altmühltal in Denkendorf (Bavaria) (see EAP 6/2016) have announced their cooperation. With different initiatives they aim to expand the knowledge about prehistoric times of young and old. The cooperation will start with a jointly produced booklet on the subjects of dinosaurs and prehistoric times and a “Dino Rally” in the related park of the Denkendorf museum. At the entrance to the Dinosaur Park Altmühltal, all visitors can now obtain the free GEOLINO booklet “The Great Dino Quiz”. Visitors can then use the facts, figures and data provided by both the booklet and along the exploration trail through the park to answer ten quiz questions. The museum and GEOLINO plan to deepen their cooperation in the future with further reader campaigns, on-site activities and joint projects.
“We complement each other perfectly,” says museum founder Michael Völker, “GEOLINO has an excellent reputation when it comes to the lively and entertaining communication of knowledge of all kinds. With us at the Dinosaur Museum Altmühltal, dinosaur fans can literally experience this knowledge, touch it and experience it in three dimensions.” ■
