Germany: André Weißenburger Appointed as New aquantas CEO

Germany’s aquantas GmbH, a consulting company in the leisure industry, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer. André Weißenburger, who holds a degree in business administration, joined aquantas in 2010 after having worked for several international companies, e.g. BMW or PUMA. From now on he will act as aquantas’ sole managing director. The former CEO Hans-Heinrich Blöcker will stay with the company in the framework of a management project. Weißenburger previously held a project leading position at aquantas and was in charge of several management projects. Furthermore, in recent times he has been involved in consulting and project development tasks. (eap)
