Germany: Europa-Park Celebrates Roofing Ceremony for New Krønasår Adventure Hotel

Yesterday, in the most beautiful sunshine, the topping-out ceremony of Europa-Park’s new adventure hotel “Krønasår” was held. Scheduled to welcome its first guests as of spring 2019, the seven-storey hotel, which will be designed as a natural history museum and be able to accommodate up to 1,300 overnight guests, represents an essential component in the further development of Europa-Park Resort as its sixth theme hotel (also read our report in EAP, issue 6/2017). The museum hotel will be connected via a bridge to the newly emerging “Rulantica” water world (expected to be completed by the end of 2019) and thus enable hotel guests to directly enter the waterpark. A boathouse style restaurant (“Bubba Svens”), a fine dining restaurtant (“Tre Krønen“) as well as“Café Konditori“ and“Bar Erikssøn“ will complete the hotel‘s culinary offer.

Completely embedded in the themed world developed by MackMedia and Mack Solutions around the legendary island of Rulantica, the adventure hotel will offer 276 themed rooms and additional 28 suites in a Nordic style. Rooms can be booked starting this summer. (eap)
