Germany: Pirate-Themed Whitewater Ride at Eifelpark Gondorf

This year, Germany’s Eifelpark Gondorf enthuses park guests with two new rides: Besides the new interactive carousel “Seeräubers Kanonenritt“ (Eng.: “Pirate’s Cannon Ride”, cf. EAP, 4/18) from Inno-Heege, a Mack Rides whitewater ride has found a new home at Eifelpark, too where it went into operation this past May.

Located at the park’s “Piratenplatz” (Eng.: “Pirates’ Place), the “Pirate Island” whitewater ride features two splashing drops during the approx. three-minute boat journey. Covering a site of some 2,400 square meters, the attraction has a track length of 360 meters with a volume of 600,000 litres of water. Guests with a body height of 105 cm can enjoy the new “wet” offer, up to an age of ten years (or 140 cm) accompanied by an adult.
