IAAPA Welcomes Two New Team Members

The IAAPA, International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, welcomed two new staff members to its global headquarters team in Alexandria, Virginia (USA) at the end of May. Ryan Strowger (pictured right) joined the association as vice president of exhibitions, conferences, and sales. He is responsible for growing IAAPA’s three trade shows Asian Attractions Expo, Euro Attractions Expo and IAAPA Attractions Expo. Strowger, who previously served as director of business development for the International Consumer Electronics Show, will also oversee IAAPA conferences and manage the exhibit, advertisement, and sponsorship sales team.

The second new IAAPA team member is Amy Pepin (pictured left), joining the association as manager of conference, trade show, and meeting operations. Pepin, who has six years of event planning experience, will work with the director of conference and trade show operations and the director of meetings to oversee trade show and event registration, coordinate special events, manage attendee services, and play a key role in event housing and transportation logistics.
