Kalahari Resorts Opens “Aquadome” in Wisconsin Dells

(eap) Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, recently celebrated the opening of its new water park expansion, “Aquadome™”. The 74,000-square-foot (approx. 7,000-square-meter) addition further expands the resort and convention destination’s year-round water park offering. Beneath a retractable roof supplied by OpenAire, guests can enjoy a new slide tower featuring three water slides from WhiteWater, as well as a pool spanning 10,000-square-foot (more than 900-square-meters) with zero-depth entry. Among the slide highlights is the Canadian manufacturer’s first fully enclosed “Boomerango” slide worldwide. Two new food and beverage outlets located in the connecting area between the existing water park and the expansion complete the offering.
“The Aquadome is built for how our guests actually spend a day with us – one space that keeps the fun going no matter what the weather does, slides for every age and thrill level, and a pool made for slowing down once everyone’s ready to relax,” explains Travis Nelson, President of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. “We’ve watched this property grow for 26 years, and this expansion is our biggest step yet in proving Wisconsin Dells is the year-round aquatic destination.”
