(eap) Until January 7, Westfalenpark in Dortmund, Germany, is home to a special illumination spectacle: 30 light installations and five video projections await visitors at this year’s “Winterleuchten”. New this year are various Pokémon light installations from the company World of Lights, which were created in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International (TPCI). Children, fans and families can go in search of 28 illuminated Pokémon hidden in a section of the park. Guests will receive an exclusive booklet at the entrance with stickers featuring the Pokémon characters to be found.

“We are delighted to announce our collaboration with World of Lights to bring this experience to Westfalenpark in Dortmund. Exploration is a core element of Pokémon and we can’t wait for children and families to embark on this little adventure to complete their booklets and discover the Pokémon depicted in the Pokémon Winter Lights installations,” said Peter Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing at The Pokémon Company International.

Rouven Bönisch, Managing Director of World of Lights, added: “We grew up with Pokémon in the 90s and were delighted to work with TPCI to develop this new concept. We are excited to welcome young guests to the installation and let them experience this multi-faceted exhibition for the first time.” ■
