Poland: Zatorland Opens New “Szymeq Coaster”

(eap) The amusement park Zatorland in Zator in Lesser Poland celebrated the official opening of its new attraction, “Szymeq Coaster”, last weekend. The roller coaster was named after the Polish YouTuber “szymeQ”, who is known for his Minecraft gaming videos and was present at the opening ceremony on Friday, May 1.
The new attraction is a Big Air Coaster model from the SBF Visa Group, which, according to the park, is said to be the first installation of its kind in Poland. The special feature of the coaster is a gondola rotating 360 degrees, which is intended to make the ride experience dynamic and also appeal to thrill-oriented visitors. The installation has a height of six meters, a track length of 86 meters and a maximum speed of 40 km/h.
The Szymeq Coaster can be found in the family park’s “Lunapark” area. In addition, Zatorland is divided into three further themed areas: the dinosaur park (“Park dinozaurów”), the giant insect park (“Park giga owadów”) and the “Park mitologii i strefa relaksu” area with mythological themes and relaxation offerings. ■
