Rust/Germany: Construction of Europa-Park’s Newest Attraction is Moving Forward

Construction works of the biggest and most elaborate indoor attraction of the park are well underway at Europa-Park. The beginning of August saw the completion of the structural works of the new attraction, which is to be opened for the start of the 2014 season. Located directly behind the park’s Enchanted Forest theme area, the new attraction based on Luc Besson’s animated film, Arthur and the Invisibles, will cover an area of 3,500 square meters. The newly developed dark ride from Mack Rides will take visitors (aged four years and older) on a four minute lasting rollercoaster ride through the dream world of the Invisibles. Further attractions of this new theme area will be a family freefall tower in the shape of a red poppy, a large sliding area as well as a “Mul Mul” ride. (eap)
