“The opening of SEVEN Abha marks a defining milestone in the company’s journey. It is not limited to opening our first entertainment destination; it presents a new model for entertainment-led destinations that brings together operational excellence, joy upon arrival, and unforgettable immersive experience. We are proud for this journey to begin in the Aseer region, delivering distinctive experiences that enrich quality of life and contribute to achieving the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030,” explains Abdullah Al Dawood, Chairman of SEVEN.

Located in the Abha International Airport cluster, SEVEN Abha is aimed at both local residents and tourists. Covering an area of around 83,000 square meters, the destination brings together eight entertainment offerings for different target groups. These include “Kawaken”, an entertainment hall with three themed zones featuring rides, arcade games, F&B outlets and party rooms, among other attractions. Classic activities with a modern twist include “Golfi”, a high-tech adventure golf concept; “Cyber Bowling”, featuring technologically enhanced bowling lanes and visual effects; and “Scene Cinemas”, a premium cinema offering.

With “SEVEN Venue”, the complex also features an event space for concerts, comedy shows and other events. The offering is complemented by three branded experiences: “Discovery Adventures”, an edutainment experience developed in collaboration with “Warner Bros. Discovery”; the “Play-Doh Imagination Center” from Hasbro for families with younger children; and “Formula E Karting”, marketed as the world’s first Formula E karting facility and featuring a 428-meter indoor race track.
SEVEN invested around SAR 1.6 billion – approximately EUR 370 million – in the new entertainment destination. By 2030, the company expects around 3.7 million annual visits. ■
