(eap) At the annual “FT92” fan event, Six Flags Fiesta Texas recently announced its upcoming new rides. Three new family-friendly attractions from Italian manufacturer Zamperla will be added to the park in 2024. With the new rides, the park is not only expanding its attraction offerings, but also its “DC Universe” themed area. Thus, all three new rides will get a superhero theme inspired by characters from the DC Universe.

The superhero “Cyborg” is featured in the new attraction “CYBORG™ Cyber Revolution”, which is a Nebulaz model. With “SHAZAM!™ Tower of Enternity”, a rotating family-friendly free-fall tower will be added to the park, in which visitors are taken to a height of 17 feet (approx. 21 meters) before a series of bounce and drop sequences. The final new attraction is “METROPLIS Transit Authority”, where visitors can ride at a relaxed speed in five meters above the DC-themed area and enjoy the view over it. Up to 16 people can be seated in two Art Deco-designed monorail-style trains per ride. In addition to the new attractions, some existing ones will also receive a new DC theme.

“Six Flags Fiesta Texas continues to invest in the guest experience and create a dynamic collection of multigenerational attractions for every member of the family,” said Park President Jeffrey Siebert. “The addition of three new rides along with the reimagining of several others will create the largest and most exciting DC Universe at any amusement park in the U.S. We’re excited to introduce our guests to this truly immersive experience,” added Siebert. ■
